Swim Girl

This past weekend was busy, busy, busy. S. did an awesome job at State she brought home her best times in every event that she swam. She dropped almost a minutes worth a time over 8 events. S. swam many hard races including, a 400 IM, a 200 IM a 200 Backstroke, and a 500 freestyle. She rocked them all.

The most exciting news of the weekend is that the she achieved a zone time. Zone is one of the many steps on your way up the swim ladder. It is a step or two away from Nationals which is the one place all Olympic wantabes want to end up. She was thrilled to see that she had finally achieved one. She has been close for a few years now. When she learned she had broke the time she said, "I knew I would always get close I didn't think that I would really ever do it."

It was great to see all her hard work and dedication payoff.

It was a great weekend and I am now officially exhausted. The kids are off of school tomorrow and except for having to work for a couple of hours I am looking forward to a day off. Tuesday we are back to the real world, real schedules and the start of soccer.

Aren't you so excited for Super Soccer Saturday? I know that you can hardly wait!

How exciting! S., you are truly a gifted athlete. Keep up the good work! I want to say, "I was her beehive adviser" when you are in the Olympics some day...

Good idea I will also claim I was your beehive leader and that I knew your family and lived by you. I will also say that I rode bikes with your mom. SWEET.
